About Us
North Lakes Gymnastics Academy is a dedicated gymnastics facility located in Penrith the heart of Cumbria, As a British Gymnastics registered club we provide a fun, exciting and safe learning environment for children aged 18 months upwards and with the help of our highly qualified and experienced coaching team we will cater for each individual child’s needs whether they are a complete beginner or a budding gymnast.
Our coaching team here at North Lakes Gymnastics Academy are all fully DBS checked, British Gymnastics qualified coaches and extremely passionate about the sport and as such are continually striving to further their coaching ability to ensure that we can give all of our gymnasts the best gymnastics tuition available
All of our gymnastics classes from beginner to elite are completely child focused and run using the highest quality gymnastics equipment; including our bespoke Gymnova sprung floor which kids just love to bounce on! This gives every child the opportunity to reach their full potential, achieving skills they didn’t even know they had all whilst making great new friends as well as fundamental skills that will help them in a wide range of activities and later life.
Our General gymnastics classes run throughout the week as follows:
Parent and child Pre-school gymnastics (18mon – 3yr)
- Thursday 1:00pm-1:40pm
Independent child Pre-school gymnastics (3 - 4yrs)
- Thursday 1:50pm-2:30pm
General gymnastics (4-6yrs)
- Saturday 9:00am-9:45am or Saturday 9:50am-10:35am
General gymnastics (7-9yrs)
- Saturday 10:40am-11:25am or Saturday 11:30am-12:15pm
General gymnastics (10+yrs)
- Saturday 12:20pm-1:05pm or Saturday 1:05pm-1:50pm
